This can include account email, order records, agreement acceptance, HMAC-derived IP risk identifiers, security/login events and technical information needed to deliver the service. Website account and order records must not be described as “no data collected.” The logging policy of the actual VPN data plane must be verified separately against the real client, gateway and node configuration. Public no-logs claims should be made only where the technical implementation and evidence support them. Data should be retained only as necessary and protected with access controls, encryption, backups and audit trails. Activation-code inventory is stored encrypted. Users may contact support for access or deletion requests, subject to records that must be kept for legal, accounting, anti-fraud or dispute purposes. If cross-border processors, payment providers, email, risk-control or support vendors are added, this notice should identify the relevant purposes and required data categories.
